Calling all young budding artists—discover a world of inspiration and creativity at Summer Art Camp! Our weeklong, age-appropriate classes are designed to encourage artistic expression, art appreciation, understanding, and imagination for kids ages 5 to 13. Camp sessions are directly supervised by one of our experienced museum educators. Explore Frist Center exhibitions, interact with original works of art, and try out fun new art processes. No previous art-making experience necessary!

PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

Ages 11–13
Art Rocks! Be inspired by the connections between art and music! Building on the exhibition Warhol Live: Music and Dance in Andy Warhol’s Work, campers will create artworks connected to their own musical references, using techniques that include printmaking, photography, and mixed media collage. Craft a collage, make a print, and construct a ‘zine, all motivated by your favorite music!
