Since 1981 Steve Jarrell & The Sons of the Beach have been entertaining audiences throughout the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean.

The band started at the Amber III club in Nashville, Tennessee performing nightly as the house band for over five years. From 1986 to mid 1988 the band was the house group at the Treasure Island Resort in Grand Cayman, BWI. Back to their home base in Nashville, the band was again a house band at a new location, the Rainbow Key club in Nashville.

Steve Jarrell & The Sons of the Beach are not only known as one of the Nation's top oldies bands, but also recording artists with hit recordings in the Carolina Beach Music genre.

      I have enjoyed the band since the Amber III, both in Nashville and on the sand in Myrtle Beach I have enjoyed Steve presenting the "Oldies Concert" at Gaylord,and on and on. The only fault I find... Expand

      I have enjoyed the band since the Amber III, both in Nashville and on the sand in Myrtle Beach I have enjoyed Steve presenting the "Oldies Concert" at Gaylord,and on and on. The only fault I find with the band is the accessibility to hear and see them. It is a pure shame they don't appear regularly as a House Band on a regular basis. I wish they would consider doing so at BB Kings'. The band should also be recognized for all the benefits they have played for the good of others. I also enjoyed seeing my friend Clifford Curry who joined the band and did a few of his songs. Clifford like the rest of us is getting along in the years,,,but don't anyone tell him. There he stood on a cane in one hand and a mike in the other...a "Big Hand" for him as well. Steve keep on "Shagging" Collapse
