Through a series of unplanned events, Mike and Bryant met by chance through different songwriters. They started co-writing songs together and formed a well meaning friendship. At one session in particular, a strong rhythm and melody was formed with two guitars. It was thought that this tune would be a good basis for a lyricist to write for a new song. What they found was an unbelievable love for the instrumental itself without adding any lyrics! A publisher made a bold statement that they have to write five more albums of this material. This was all unexpected to have this positive kind of reaction. Needless to say, their path was put forth before them and writethey did.

At present, they currently have over four albums worth of material and have performed many songs at local venues in Nashville. With a sense of humour, they have given quirky names to their albums like Ear Candy, Music for Cats and House Plants, Earotica, and d’composers. They like to think of their music, like themselves, as serious fun! Their reception at playing live has been extremely positive. Most of their material has the basic song structure with a very strong melody line and counterpoint rhythm. Think Instrumental Pop! One listener commented at a live performance that it was like their guitars were talking to each other. The music of Meltzer/Parsons is named wordless song music and it comes from a higher place through their hearts to their hands. They feel extremely blessed for the ability to create this music. It is the hope that the listener can feel this too and be blessed as well!
