"Walk 100 Miles with the Mayor" is a community-wide effort, initiated by Mayor Karl Dean, encouraging all Nashvillians to improve their overall health by joining their friends and community in walking 100 miles in Nashville's parks and greenways this spring and summer. Join Mayor Dean on any of 28 scheduled walks, ranging from two to 10 miles in length, or walk on your own. Log your miles at www.walk100miles.com. For those who meet the 100-mile goal, a celebration concert will be held in downtown Nashville on Saturday, July 9.
