    Laughter For The Children is the primary annual fundraising event for Monroe Harding is presented by Dollar General and brings together an estimated crowd of 500 to enjoy live and silent auctions, dinner and a stand-up comedy performance. Rhori Johnston of Newschannel5 will serve as the emcee. The event has had the honor of having Kix Brooks (of country duo Brooks & Dunn) and his wife Barbara as the honorary chairs for the past 10 years. The evening will feature a stand-up comedy performance.

    This year's event will be held Friday, November 11, in Liberty Hall at the Factory at Franklin.
