Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 28 present "Tennessee's Boldest Moment"

Tour the grounds of the State Capitol in Nashville, and meet noteworthy Nashvillians portrayed in period dress from 1861. Tours will depart from the Tennessee State Museum to the Capitol at intervals between the hours of 1:00pm and 4:00pm. This is a chance to hear the Governor of Tennessee, Isham Harris, proclaim that Tennessee is seceding from the Union! Sponsored by the Joseph E. Johnston Camp # 28 of Nashville. The cost is $10 per adult, $5 per student. Proceeds will be used to restore the flag of the Second Tennessee Infantry which is part of the museum's collection.
This is a walking tour so prepare to be on your feet at least one hour. For more information please call (615) 780-3598.
