How I Learned to Drive
April 13-April 17, 2011
Add Review/Comment
“Sometimes to tell a secret, you first have to teach a lesson.” How I Learned to Drive is a powerful story about a young girl learning how to become a woman. Using the metaphor of driving and the issues of pedophilia, incest, and misogyny, the play centers on the relationship of a young woman and her uncle. A not so average coming-of-age tale, this story shows that often in the end, forgiveness is better than blame. Directed by Rebecca Beasley.
This event takes place in the Trahern Theatre.
