The 2011 DIG series, presented by Werkshop Marketing and the Lipscomb University College of Business, will host its monthly session by Werkshop’s chief strategist Holly Grenvicz and Brian Cauble of Appsolute Genius. They will present “Apps: The Day After Tomorrow, A Look at Mobile App Development and Trends for 2011.”

Continental breakfast will be served starting at 8:00am and free parking will be available at the David Lipscomb High School football field at 1013 Caldwell Lane. Shuttles will take participants to the Ezell Center on the main campus.

Cauble is the co-founder and CEO of Appsolute Genius, developers of smart phone apps. He has worked in software development in Birmingham for 10 years. In his career, he’s been a lead developer for the world’s largest GIS conservation system and world’s largest factoring management system. He has also founded Birmingham Entrepreneur, which focuses on encouraging growth in the local entrepreneurship community.

After nearly a decade in marketing at First Tennessee, Grenvicz left to form Fresh Dirt Marketing in 2007. Fresh Dirt merged with Bowling Green’s Earnhart + Friends Advertising in 2009 to become Werkshop Marketing. Grenvicz, her partner Tim Earnhart and their team, have created successful marketing blueprints for professional athletes, start-up ventures and businesses of all shapes and sizes.
