    We don’t know about you, but sometimes we need a break from swooped hair, tat sleeves and V-neck T-shirts. Thing is, we’re not gonna do it at the sacrifice of volume and craziness. That’s where Black Veil Brides come in. Led by frontman Andy Six, BVB are bringing spectacle to their mix of ’80s hair-farmer rock and metalcore power. Factor in a hard-charging work ethic, a bevy of tracks from their debut album, We Stitch These Wounds, and an unwavering devotion to their fans, and you’ve got a rockin’ good time all the way around. Get onboard with BVB now, or lie about being there when they get too big for the underground. The choice is yours, peeps…

    Did you know that 21 percent of Americans don’t use the internet? Not that it matters, because they probably aren’t fans of Craig Owens, one of the most charismatic singers to come out of the post-hardcore scene. The net has been buzzing about D.R.U.G.S. (aka Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows), Owens’ major rock salvo since parting with Chiodos last year, and he’s launching his first mass-scale sonic offensive on the 2011 AP Tour. With a lineup including Owens, guitarists Matt Good (From First To Last) and Nick Martin (Underminded, Cinematic Sunrise), bassist Adam Russell (Story Of The Year) and drummer Aaron Stern (Matchbook Romance), we suspect sound companies complaining about the band’s speaker-bombing proclivities’ll bill us nightly. And we’re okay with that.
