Travisfest will be well underway. Travisfest is booked by Rocketown kids to help pay for medical bills for Travis Morgan, a close
friend to many who work, volunteer, and come to Rocketown. Three years ago, Travis Morgan had an unfortunate accident that left him in a coma with not much of a chance to live. He has since come out of the coma, is regaining his sight, can give a thumbs up, and is slowly but steadily improving. The kids who booked it, Jesse Butler and Brett Ison, have helped raise almost $4,000 to help the Morgans with medical bills. Rose, Travis' mom, makes hand-knit hats and bracelets to sell, and Jesse & Brett have gotten t-shirts made that have "Travis Morgan is my ultimate warrior" on the front of them. Travisfest is a collaboration of local bands, kids, and artists who come together to help someone they love. We invite you to come and support these kids, our Rocketown family, and the Morgans!

This year Travisfest is leaning toward some of the bands that work just as hard as the rest, but don't get the recognition and also keeping the fan favorites. Rocketown has been awesome enough to let us do all of the past Travisfests there so we see no need to look else where.
