Kecia is originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and moved to Nashville to pursue writing in various forms. Besides being a performing singer/songwriter, she is a published author and is a master practitioner NLP life coach. She has a masters degree in School Counseling and works in a middle school by day. By night she sings her songs in the Nashville venues such as The Commodore Lounge, Bluebird cafe, Blue Bar and Red Rooster. Besides songwriting, her passion is travel - particularly Mexican beache! Kecia is co-founder of Drive Your Dreams, an organization to motivate and empower women. Kecia publishes reguarly with Examiner.com, Bizymoms.com and ezines.com
