The Battle of Franklin Trust, which manages The Carter House and Carnton Plantation, is pleased to announce The Sunset Concert Series, presented by BancorpSouth.

The electrifying three part Sunset Concert series kicks off June 26, with The Midnight Riders, The Ultimate Allman Brothers Review. Based out of Nashville, this tribute band brings timeless southern rock to enthusiastic audiences from Georgia to Michigan and all points in between. Consisting of seasoned road and Music Row veterans, this group brings the passion and artistry of the original Allman Bros lineup to every show.

The Sunset Concert Series continues on Sunday, July 31 with UZoo – The Ultimate U2 Tribute Band Experience. UZoo strives to be the most accurate and sought after U2 cover band in America. Paying attention to every detail of their performance, the band fights to exactly replicate the U2 experience on all levels. This elaborate performance includes UZoo members taking on the persona of U2 legends such as Bono and The Edge.

Rounding out the summer line-up on August 28 is The Bicho Brothers Present Soul Sacrifice, A Tribute to Santana. Based in Nashville, The Bicho Brothers band is a group of music veterans who come together with a shared passion and desire to create great music and move audiences. Soul Sacrifice delivers everything you’d expect from a Santana tribute – the perfect blend of melodic rock guitar, horns and Latin percussion.

All concerts are from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with gates opening at 4:30pm. Wrist bands will be issued for reentry and parking is free. The summer series is a family friendly event but please leave Fido and your grills at home! Patrons are also encouraged to bring lounging items such as lawn chairs or blankets. Guests are more than welcome to bring their own food and drink but vendors will be on site just in case.

The Carnton Plantation Concert Series is an eco-friendly event, and a banner, “Keep Carnton Green” will be posted as a reminder. Guests will also receive trash bags at the entrance to collect their trash and are asked to please take their garbage with them when they leave.
