Embracing our mission to build community and create social change, our emphases for our seventh season are to make Nashville in Harmony a "home" for all members, to make Nashville a "home" where everyone is accepted, to sing and work for those in our community who do not have a home, and to build relationships with an increasing variety of individuals and organizations so they feel at "home" with us.
This will be Nashville in Harmony's second concert at TPAC's Polk Theater. We are excited to be so warmly welcomed back to our newest concert home.
Just returning from their Equality Tour through Chattanooga and Birmingham, we invite you to our season's final concert, "A Home For Us All" at TPAC's Polk Theater, this Thursday, June 9, 7:30 PM.
The show has many favorites: Singing in the Rain, Home (from The Wiz), Mac Davis' I Believe in Music, and Paul Simon's Feelin' Groovy. Of course, there also will be a few theatrical treats!
A bonus to the final concert is the official premiere of the original composition, Is It Me? with lyrics by formerly homeless poet and songwriter, Chuck Clinard, and music composed by Don Schlosser, director of Nashville in Harmony.
We hope you'll join us for this very special evening.
