Lunch and Lecture - Tennessee: History by Rail
May 19, 2011
Add Review/Comment
The railroad had a large role in shaping Tennessee. Not only do the rails of steel connect our historic sites, but also our understanding of Tennessee history. Join us as Dr. Carroll Van West, Director of Middle Tennessee State University's Center for Historic Preservation, follows the path of the railroad and uses the landmarks featured in the garden exhibition Trains: Tennessee in 'G' to take us on a journey through our state's heritage and history. Following the lecture, a guided tour of the exhibition will be offered.
