    gallery F. at Scarritt-Bennett and the Foreign Language Acting Group (F.L.A.G.) will host a poetry and music event celebrating Nashville’s French community on May 22. This is the first French language event in a series of foreign language programs presented by the two groups. The event is free and open to the public. Reservations are required.

    Song and poetry from Poulenc to Prevent, including classical, jazz, popular and original songs, and poems by French and Quebec authors – with a dash of Cajun spice! 

    Vocalists: Suzahn Fiering, Diane di Stasio, David Durham, Mark Van Sickle and Jamie Cutler

    Special Guest Artist: Audrey Belle, 14, F.L.A.G.'s Young Artist of the Year 2011

    Musicians: Bob Teague, Joe First, Martin Brady

    Performers: Elisabeth de Chatillon, Ellen Green, Mark Van Sickle, Virgile Ganne, Jessica Deering, Alan Lee
