The Nashville Jazz Workshop Snap on 2&4 Series will feature guitarist Geary Moore, Friday, May 13, 8:00pm in The Jazz Cave, located at 1319 Adams Street, Nashville, TN

Geary Moore made his Jazz Cave debut in February with Dr. Rip Patton in a special Black History Month "Freedom Riders" presentation at the Nashville Jazz Workshop. The Pittsburgh native moved to Nashville after a 30-year career in New York as a jazz guitarist.

Known for his fluid, inventive, and authentic style, Moore is a protege of George Benson and Jimmy Ponder. He has worked with jazz luminaries such as Jimmy McGriff, Arthur Prysock, Slide Hampton, T.S. Monk, David "Fat Head" Newman, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jon Faddis, Phil Woods, Mulgrew Miller, Jackie McLean, Willis "Gator" Jackson, Ruth Brown, Charles Earland, Reggie Workman and many others. He also taught, for 5 years, at the world famous JAZZ MOBILE in Harlem, NY.

Fans of virtuosic jazz guitar do not want to miss this one! As always, downbeat for the first set is at 8:00pm.
