FREE DAY IN MAY! Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 10:00am - 4:00pm.  Dive into Creativity at Discovery Center!  Help create a turtle mosaic for the Discovery Center, plus other fun art projects throughout the day!

WORLD TURTLE DAY  from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.  Join Discovery Center and Murfreesboro Parks & Recreation in a day dedicated to our shelled friends as we celebrate and discover ways to increase turtle conservation around the world. Participate in the World’s Slowest Hike and stop at each turtle station to learn about the different species that inhabit our planet. In addition, ?nd out steps to become a better GREEN family at home and in your schools to help out all the critters on this planet – including us! Activities, crafts, live animals, and free Turtle Tracks ice cream (while supplies last) will be fun for the whole family to enjoy.
