    * World Premiere

    Trombonists from all over the world will converge on Nashville for the International Trombone Festival this summer, and we’ll welcome them with a bold, brassy world premiere: Daniel Schnyder’s jazzy Concerto for Trombone, which will feature Joseph Alessi, principal trombonist of the New York Philharmonic. Rachmaninoff’s final work, Symphonic Dances, is a triumphant summation of his creative genius, full of rhythmic energy, rich harmonies and deeply felt emotions.
