Warm weather is here, and the Nashville Symphony is ready to get out and perform at your local park! Thanks to the generous support of Regions, we’re able to offer free admission to most of the events in our Community Concerts series. Associate Conductor Kelly Corcoran and Resident Conductor Albert-George Schram have planned a string of great programs featuring a mix of beloved orchestral favorites, classic tunes and unforgettable movie music. Themes for this year’s concerts include “A Salute to the Boston Pops,” featuring works by Gershwin, John Williams, Leroy Anderson and more; “Hoe-Down,” a musical celebration of the American West; and “Russian Fireworks,” featuring Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and much more. So pack a picnic, bring the family and enjoy a night of music under the stars!
