    “Music City” is gearing up for the CMA Music Festival and fans, industry insiders and music makers will head to Hard Rock Cafe Nashville for the 5th Annual Songwriters Series. Beginning Thursday, June 9th, the Songwriters Series, sponsored by MaxxForce, will showcase intimate performances by Nashville’s-own talented songwriters. Late-night after parties featuring live entertainment will follow the Songwriters Series each night.

    The BMI Songwriters Series will feature: 
    Luke Laird:
    “So Small,” “Last Name,” “Temporary Home,” “Undo It,” and “Mama’s Song” - Carrie Underwood
    “Hillbilly Bone” - Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins
    “A Little Bit Stronger” - Sara Evans

    Natalie Hemby:
    “White Liar,” “Only Prettier,” “The Airstream Song,” and “Virginia Bluebell” - Miranda Lambert
    “Play On” - Carrie Underwood
    “The Bees” - Lee Ann Womack

    Thomas Rhett Akins – Big Machine Recording Artist
    “I Ain’t Ready To Quit” - Jason Aldean’s platinum album, “My Kinda Party”
    Upcoming solo album to be released on Big Machine Records

    Rhett Akins:
    "That Ain't My Truck" and “Don’t Get Me Started” #1 songs written and performed by Rhett Akins

    In honor of the 5th Annual Songwriter Series, Hard Rock Cafe Nashville will be selling a limited-edition pin for $12. Hard Rock will donate 15% of the pin’s sales to Musicians On Call.

    Musicians On Call delivers the healing power of music by bringing live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities.
