Friends of South Cumberland Annual Meeting

Join Friends of South Cumberland for their annual meeting and celebration for the protection of nearly 6000 acres in and around Fiery Gizzard with a potluck picnic lunch!

Chris Roberts, Land Trust for TN South Cumberland Plateau project manager, will talk about this key purchase in the context of the overall conservation plan for the South Cumberland Plateau. Also, we'll be honoring our partner organizations -- The Land Trust for TN and The Conservation Fund.

If you would like to take a short (1-mi.) hike out to Raven's Point to view the new acquisition, plan to meet at the visitors' center at 10:30am to carpool there and back before the picnic.

Entertainment for the event will feature music by Bazzania Girls Band, the official band of the Friends of South Cumberland, highlighted by a new song written especially for the occasion. You're sure to go home singing!
