Family Program: I Love: Tom T. Hall’s Songs of Fox Hollow in concert
Enjoy a special afternoon of music celebrating the release of I Love: Tom T. Hall’s Songs of Fox Hollow (Red Beet Records/CMF Records). Performers Peter Cooper and Eric Brace assembled an impressive cast of musicians and guest singers to re-record the songs from Tom T. Hall’s 1974 masterpiece, Songs of Fox Hollow. The original album was a big seller, featuring material inspired by Hall’s Williamson County home, Fox Hollow. Hall paints Fox Hollow as a curious and enchanting place, full of kindness, love, and wonderment. Brace, Cooper, and their band will perform selections from the album, including the favorites “I Love,” “The Song of the One-Legged Chicken,” and “Sneaky Snake.” Fun for kids of all ages. Followed by a CD signing in the Museum Store. Free.
