Walk 100 Miles with the Mayor Celebration Concert ft. Jo Dee Messina and Melinda Doolittle

Singer Jo Dee Messina, who has scored nine No. 1 singles, sold five million albums and won awards from both the CMA and ACM, will headline the July 9 grand celebration of the “Walk 100 Miles With the Mayor” effort. The wrap-up party will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm in the Public Square Park, adjacent to the historic Metro Courthouse. Event also features LIVE MUSIC by Melinda Doolittle.
 
The event will feature additional musical artists, to be announced in the next few days, a kid’s fun zone and food available from several of Nashville’s well-known and popular food trucks that will be located on the perimeter of the park. Everyone who logs their 100 miles of walking on the “Walk 100 Miles” website will receive a commemorative t-shirt at the event, and other attendees will receive a free t-shirt celebrating the “Walk 100 Miles” effort.
 
Please make plans to bring your entire family to the Public Square Park on July 9 to celebrate “Walk 100 Miles With the Mayor”!

"Walk 100 Miles with the Mayor" is a community-wide effort, initiated by Mayor Karl Dean, encouraging all Nashvillians to improve their overall health by joining their friends and community in walking 100 miles in Nashville's parks and greenways this spring and summer. Join Mayor Dean on any of 28 scheduled walks, ranging from two to 10 miles in length, or walk on your own. Log your miles at www.walk100miles.com. For those who meet the 100-mile goal, a celebration concert will be held in downtown Nashville on Saturday, July 9.
