    Adventure Science Center launches Independence Day festivities with BANG during "The Science of Kaboom!"  

    Before the fireworks, Middle Tennesseans are invited to kick off their Independence Day celebration at Adventure Science Center during an exciting day of exploration and noise. On Monday, July 4, from 10:00am–4:00pm visitors of the Center will learn about all things that go BAM, POW and SPLAT during “The Science of Kaboom!” From live demonstrations of Mentos and Coke explosions to seeing what happens when objects are dropped off a roof, guests will be able to learn more about the science behind noise and explosions during this day-long event. Visitors will also be able to create mini rockets, participate in a special bubble wrap stomp and engage in other hands-on activities.

    **Please note – Adventure Science Center will close one hour early for a private event upon the conclusion of The Science of Kaboom! activities at 4:00pm.

        Free with general admission: $12 for adults; $10 for children ages 2 to 12, seniors 65+, active military families (with ID) and college students (with ID); and free for certified TN teachers (with school ID).
