Second Saturday, July 9, provides an opportunity to experience the Sudekum Planetarium after-hours and pay only for planetarium tickets (no general admission cost).

30pm Sea Monsters Journey 80 million years back in time to an age when mighty dinosaurs dominated the land, and as equally astonishing assortment of ferocious creatures swarmed, hunted, and fought for survival beneath the vast, mysterious prehistoric seas. Stunning photo-realistic imagery re-creates the perilous underwater realm of two young, dolphin-sized marine reptiles called Dolichorhynchops, or 'Dollies', and follows their incredible journey through waters ruled by some of the most awesome predators ever to prowl the Earth’s oceans.  Sea Monsters is recommended for ages 6 and up.

30pm Skies Over Nashville Skies Over Nashville is a live program in which a planetarium educator shows you how to locate and identify naked-eye seasonal constellations, bright stars, planets and any other interesting sky objects visible on the date of the planetarium visit. You're invited to ask questions and participate in the show! Skies Over Nashville is recommended for ages 4 and up.

30pm The Beatles Take the whole family on a magical mystery tour with John, Paul, George, and Ringo in the Sudekum Planetarium where the iconic music of The Beatles is accompanied by brilliant lasers, digital effects, and millions of stars. Get ready to twist and shout until you cause a revolution. You might even find yourself in an octopus’ garden.

30pm That (mostly) 70's Show Get ready to rock your socks as millions of stars, fulldome digital animation, and brilliant lasers perform to some of the hottest music from the 1970s (and slightly beyond). Perform your best air guitar to the sounds of Kiss, Van Halen, Boston, AC/DC, Aerosmith, and Pink Floyd. They don't call it Classic Rock for nothin'

30pm Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon Pink Floyd provides the ultimate aural environment for exploring inner and outer space. Within the planetarium chamber, the experience is enhanced with digital animation, millions of stars, and brilliant laser imagery. This album may be older than a large percentage of our audience, but the music is timeless.
