Artful Tales is a monthly interactive family program that combines the oral tradition of storytelling with hands on art-making activities to explore stories and cultures from around the world. Featured story and activity: Investigate the proverb “You can't tell much about a bird by looking at its feathers,” in this Mexican folktale about the cuckoo bird and her friends; and then explore the artistic tradition of Mexican papel picado or cut paper.
