Friday, August 12, please join us in welcoming superb vocalist Christina Watson to the Jazz Cave for Snap on 2&4.

Originally from southeastern Kentucky, Christina moved to Nashville in 2001 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Since her arrival in Music City, her versatile voice of 3+ octaves and love of all cultures have gained her entry into a wide array of musical situations, including appearances at various jazz festivals and at numerous venues in the US, France, Belgium and Sweden. She has released two CD's as a leader - 2004's All About Love and 2008's critically acclaimed A Flower Truly Blue - and she sings soprano in the Nashville based vocal jazz quartet 3rd Coast Vocals, currently readying the release of their debut CD.

Joining Christina for this, her debut Snap on 2&4 appearance, will be a fantastic band, featuring Joe Davidian (piano), Craig Nelson (bass), Bob Mater (drums), Don Aliquo (saxopone), and Maureen Murphy (backup vocals).

There will be two sets, beginning at 8:00pm. Tickets will be $20 for adults / $10 high school and college students with ID. They go on sale by phone at 242-5299 on Monday, August 8 at 10:00am.
