    Unleash the beast, and stick to those New Year’s resolutions with a little help from your animal friends at Nashville Zoo. Our annual run is a 5K route that takes you on a mad dash through the park. Whether you sprint, gallop, waddle or crawl, the Zoo Run Run is sure to bring out your inner animal!

    The Run will be officially timed by the Nashville Striders, so experienced runners are encouraged to join us! The annual 5K race takes participants through the Zoo’s 188-acre property on pathways, roads and rugged trails not typically seen by the public. The course also passes by favorite habitats, including the African Elephant and Giraffe Savannahs, Bamboo Trail and the new Flamingo Lagoon.

    The Zoo Run Run is designed for runners and walkers of all levels. Families are encouraged to bundle up, grab their strollers and see the Zoo during wintertime. Strollers with all-terrain tires are recommended.

    All proceeds benefit Nashville Zoo, a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization.

        Registering by 12:00pm, Friday, Dec. 16:
        Zoo Member ages 13+ - $27
        Non-Zoo Member ages 13+ - $30
        Zoo member and non-member children (ages 5-12) - $13
        Add a Champion Chip from the Nashville Striders - $1.50 per registrant

        Registering after 12:00pm, Friday, Dec. 16:
        Zoo Member ages 13+ - $37
        Non-Zoo Member ages 13+ - $40
        Zoo member and non-member children (ages 5-12) - $23
        Add a Champion Chip from the Nashville Striders - $1.50 per registrant

        Race Day:
        $45 per participant, ages 13+
        $25 per participant, ages 5-12

        NO CHAMPION CHIPS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR RACE DAY REGISTRANTS. Please pre-register through Friday, Jan. 20 to receive a Champion Chip. We apologize for any inconvenience.
