Staying For The Weekend began in the summer of 2009 as a cover band but after a year and a half they have become far more than just a garage band. Staying For The Weekend, Alexandra Pitzer, Wade Luplow, Carson Mays, Kurt Krafft, and Mac Gibbons, spent the summer of 2010 writing songs. Joined by Carson Mays from "The Shenanigans" late in the summer they finally recorded a 5 song EP in September. Their EP , MOTHER DEAR, was released on December 14th, 2010.
