Poston3 Gallery – Tennessee Watercolor Society The Tennessee Watercolor Society (TnWS) was formed in 1971 by some of Tennessee's best in the visual arts, artists and educators. Poston3 Gallery – Tennessee Watercolor Society The Tennessee Watercolor Society (TnWS) was formed in 1971 by some of Tennessee's best in the visual arts, artists and educators. The mission and purpose of the TnWS remains the same: To elevate the stature of watercolor (on paper) as an important, creative, permanent painting medium and to educate the public to the significance of painters in all water media by its programs, exhibits both competitive and noncompetitive. TnWS encourages study by art students and others engaged in water media, as well as all visual arts.

TnWS is an active statewide organization with members and officers across that state. TnWS has its statewide, juried exhibitions every two years and rotates them from region to region. A reception will be held Saturday, December 3, from 6:00pm-9:00pm; the presentation will run through December 30.
