Buddy Miller is busy. It seems he is just about everywhere you look these days. He is band leader for Robert Plant's Band of Joy and a member of the Majestic Silver Strings (a super-group of string geniuses that includes Bill Frissell, Marc Ribot and Greg Leisz). Perhaps you recently caught sight of him playing guitar on stages or in recording studios with actor Jeff Bridges, John Fogerty, Willie Nelson, and Levon Helm or with one of his favorite groups, 3 Girls & Their Buddy (with Emmylou Harris, Shawn Colvin and Patty Griffin). Or, you might find him pulling together an All-star band for the Americana Music Association's Award Show (which he will do again in October). When not on stage, he's a music producer who, in addition to making his own critically acclaimed and award winning records (sometimes with wife singer-songwriter Julie Miller), has produced records with Robert Plant, Solomon Burke, Emmylou Harris and Patty Griffin and just finished recording a new project with Carolina Chocolate Drops. Oh, and did we mention he's a songwriter in his spare time? His songs have been recorded by Miranda Lambert, Lee Ann Womack, Dixie Chicks and many more and are heard on TV series like "True Blood" and "Sons of Guns."

This show also features live music from Patty Griffin.
