Since quitting his day job at Starbucks in January 2008, Ari Herstand has played over 70 colleges, toured both coasts, performed Milwaukee's Summerfest and Austin's SXSW, opened for Ben Folds, Cake, Eric Hutchinson, Matt Nathanson, and Joshua Radin and had his music featured on popular TV shows One Tree Hill and The Real World. The completely independent musician also started an artist development company, Proud Honeybee Productions, handling booking, publicity, publishing and management for other bands locally and around the country. Herstand has been best known for his solo, live looping abilities: melding the acoustic guitar, keyboard, trumpet, tambourine, vocals, and beat boxing seamlessly--to create a visually entertaining and full sonic live experience.
