Tennessee Drift was formed for one specific reason – to grow the sport of drifting through the promotion of legal drift practice days, drift competitions, car shows, marketing partnerships, and the organization of other drift associations, perhaps under one canopy, with the goal of bringing major league professional drifting to the east coast.

Drifting is the art of maneuvering your vehicle in a controlled slide around a course designated by clipping points, chaining corners together so that the vehicle is never pointed straight while maximizing angle, speed, and tire smoke. Drifting is not judged by speed. It is not limited to finishing first or passing another car to win. Drifting is the perfect combination of speed, precision, and most importantly, style.

Tennessee Drift is the perfect combination of two events in one. The advanced course provides worthy drivers with a place to hone their craft. Seat time, seat time, seat time is the answer to the question: What does it take to become a professional drifter. At our Tennessee Drift events there is plenty of seat time. The beginner’s course provides a safe, legal place for newbies to learn the art of drifting. There is plenty of seat time and the advanced drivers are more than willing to spend time answering questions, riding along, and even driving the cars of the beginners. What better way to learn the feel of your own car than riding along in your car with a driver who can show you what your car can really do and how you, yourself, can make it happen? None, Tennessee Drift is the answer.

Tennessee Drift has some goals. We want to continue to put on the best drift practice events around. We want to grow into drift competitions with points, prize money, individual event champions, and a series champion. We want to form relationships with cooperate marketing partners who recognize our sport as a valid advertising tool that can use to reach their key demographic. In the future, we have a vision . There is no unified drift racing sanctioning body on the east coast. We don’t like that. We want to work with other drift organizations to come together to give drivers like YOU the opportunity to become professional drifters on this side of the country. With your help, we can accomplish them all.
