Puckett's Rising Star is a singer-songwriter open mic contest sponsored by Heineken Beer. Each of the preliminary events will feature up to 20 singer/songwriters. Audience members can cast their vote for their favorite songwriter (so be sure to bring all of your fans, friends and family with you when you perform!), and a small panel of industry judges will also select their favorite songwriter.

We have a cash prize for the winner of each preliminary event, courtesy of our sponsor, Heineken Beer! The judges pick wins a $25 VISA Gift card, and the audience pick also wins a $25 VISA Gift card!

Our winner of the entire series will receive $500 cash and will perform their songs in the round with other well known singer-songwriters as part of their prize!
