Fest de Ville Gala 2011 ft. Kristin Chenoweth

Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth will perform at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s annual “Fest de Ville Gala” on Saturday, October 29, 2011. The legacy of Ted Welch and the legendary career of Tim McGraw will be celebrated as well at the Fest de Ville Gala.The optional black-tie event begins with cocktails at 6:30pm in War Memorial Auditorium, across the street from TPAC, followed by dinner and entertainment.

McGraw and Welch will receive TPAC’s Applause Award for their distinguished contributions to the performing arts.

 

Originating the role of Glinda the Good Witch in the Broadway blockbuster Wicked, she received an Emmy Award for her work in the series "Pushing Daisies," also appearing on television in Glee and The West Wing. This fall Chenoweth will star in the new television show, Good Christian Belles. She received a Tony Award for her role as Sally in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. In addition to a long list of other impressive credits in theatre, film and television, she has produced four albums, including Some Lessons Learned, to be released on September 13, and appeared in concert nationwide.

Proceeds from this event benefit the educational and cultural programming of the Tennessee Performing Arts Center.
