Singer-songwriter Gillian Welch, whose style combines elements of Appalachian music, Bluegrass and Americana,

has been described by The New Yorker as “at once innovative and obliquely reminiscent of past rural forms” is set to return to the Ryman stage December 1. Welch’s most recent album, her first in eight years, “The Harrow & The Harvest” has received much critical acclaim since its June release. An evening with Gillian Welch goes on sale Friday, August 12 at 10 am.
