    Each year, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society holds its Light The Night Walk to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer in communities throughout the United States and Canada. The thousands of participants carry illuminated balloons and raise funds for patient services and research for better therapies and cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. This year Nashville will hold its 12th annual Light The Night Walk, which is 2.2 miles and features live music, food and children’s activities. The walk is open to the public, and participants can go at a leisurely pace, easily completing the walk in less than an hour.
