As part of NPT’s Nashville’s 10 Days of Peace, running through September 21, as well as in conjunction with Connecting Cultures: Children’s Stories from Across the World, the Frist Center is pleased to host a screening of Not In Our Town: Light in the Darkness in advance of its air date on NPT September 21. This one-hour documentary features the story of a town coming together to take action after anti-immigrant violence devastates its community.

Opening remarks will be given by Kathy Edson of NPT, Kathleen Fuchs of Latino Achievers, and Shaun Giles, educator for outreach at the Frist Center. The Not In Our Town National Week of Action and Nashville’s expanded 10 Days of Peace initiatives mark an opportunity for Nashville to show the world how it thrives in its diversity.
