October 6, 2011
Add Review/Comment
JJ Kent is the adopted son of a full-blooded Lakota woman from the Oglala band and, along with his Muskogee heritage, was immersed in a proud lineage of both Nations. As a musician, speaker, and educator, JJ Kent represents the Oglala Lakota Nation, whose heritage is indelibly inked on his soul. Some years ago, he was asked to share his knowledge of Native American history and storytelling tradition with school children, which has become an important part of a spiritual journey for many. Join JJ Kent as he tells of his Native American heritage and plays flute music for all to enjoy.
