    After last year’s successful and historic Celtic show at The Ryman Auditorium Celtic Isle Records, Inc. Insyc Music, and The Ryman are presenting "A Celtic Christmas at The Ryman" for the second year.

    Every year the show will bring a new musical guest from Ireland or Scotland to celebrate Christmas with us at The Ryman. This year the special guest will be Cathy Jordan from the famous magical traditional Irish Sligo based group Dervish. Cathy’s voice is known as one of the best voices in Irish music. Cathy’s group Dervish has performed in nearly 40 countries and were even selected to represent Ireland and travel with The Irish President Mary McAleese. Cathy has been featured on long running radio programs on NPR as well as Prairie Home Companion.

    About the Show

    "A Celtic Christmas at The Ryman" will be a huge production once again. Celtic Isle Records, Inc. is flying in some of the best Irish musicians and performers in the world. An amazing line up! The concert will be hosted again by international Irish music group “The Celts”. This year, starting on Dec. 2nd “The Celts” show “Christmas with The Celts” will also be airing across the country as a pledge show on PBS!

    “The Celts” are an 8 piece group which recently signed with Pyramid Records and Universal Distribution and a Management contract with former Sinead O’Connor Mgr and VP of EMI for 15 years Bruce Garfield. “The Celts” music is a unique hybrid of traditional Irish and Scottish music mixed with an American pop rock influence. “The Celts” PBS show could be aired on as many as 352 TV stations across the country.

    The Celts world renown Irish music group will be appearing with special guests:

    Trad Irish group Dervish lead singer Cathy Jordan

    Riverdance and Lord of the Dance piper Ivan Goff from Dublin

    "A Celtic Christmas at The Ryman" is a performance which features not just irish dancing and the best of Celtic music, Irish and Scottish humor, theatrics, incredible light show but most of all Christmas inspiration, the message of hope.
