    The Tennessee Artisan Market at The Renaissance Center invites all interior designers, interior design students, lighting professionals, artists and the general public to a free Interior Design Event and Lecture on Friday, October 7th, 6::30 pm. The event will start with a lecture and presentation on “Light Revealing Design” by Amy Laughead-Riese, LC, who will discuss techniques designers can use to reveal their design, including how to use light to defy gravity, melt architecture, or influence behavior. She will also address “Lighting Focal Points”, lighting characteristics to be considered when lighting paintings and sculpture, of interest to artists and interior designers alike. Following Amy’s lecture, there will be a Meet & Greet Reception in the Tennessee Artisan Market at around 7:30 pm.
