Community members, Civil War enthusiasts, and costumed re-enactors gather at The Carter House near the end of the day for a somber moment of remembrance.

Illumination: On Wednesday November 30, thousands of luminaries will be lit to commemorate each of the casualties of the Battle of Franklin. The ceremony will be held at Resthaven Cemetery just north of downtown Franklin and hosted by the City of Franklin.
