The Carter House Candlelight Tour

The 39th annual Carter House Candlelight Tour, which will showcase six historic Franklin sites from 6:00pm-8:00pm November 30 through December 3. On the first day of the tour, guests can walk at their own pace through the low-lit Carter House, Carnton Plantation and Lotz House to hear docents tell stories of the families caught in the battle. At Carter House and Carnton, costumed re-enactors will represent members of the McGavock and Carter families.  This holiday-themed event awakens the holiday spirit while showcasing historic Franklin homes and properties and benefits the Battle of Franklin Trust.
