Lipscomb University’s Pizza & Politics speaker series presents U.S. Rep. Jim Cooper at 6:00pm on Wednesday, October 19, in the Shamblin Theatre on campus. This lecture is free and open to the public.

The Tennessean called Cooper one of the most bipartisan public officials in Tennessee, and the New York Times wrote that Cooper is “the House’s conscience, a lonely voice for civility in this ugly era.”

This session of Pizza & Politics is sponsored by the Nelson and Sue Andrews Institute for Civic Leadership; and the Department of Communication and Journalism and the Department of History, Politics and Philosophy, both in the College of Arts and Sciences; and the Office of the Provost.
