    The fourth annual Silver Stars™ talent competition will feature singers and musicians from Nashville and Memphis performing before a live audience and celebrity judges for the chance to be crowned HealthSpring’s 2011 Silver Star. First-, second- and third-place winners will receive a total of $7,500 in prize money. The free family show is open to the public and will feature a variety of entertainment – from blues, country and gospel music to jazz and Latin vocals and more.

    Celebrity judges:
    -R&B/rock singer Bonnie Bramlett
    -Fleetwood Mac guitarist/singer Billy Burnette
    -Country Music Hall of Famer Mel Tillis

    NOTES:
    -E Street bassist Garry Tallent will join the Silver Stars All-Star House Band
    -First 1,000 attendees will receive a free Silver Stars CD
    -Presented by HealthSpring with sponsors Harvest Construction, Healthways SilverSneakers, Human Arc, Solid Gospel 105 FM, Southeast Venture and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
