    Invisible Forces Lab
    Grades 1 - 3
    1:00pm-2:00pm, 30 students maximum
Explore fun inquiry-based stations which will challenge young students to record observations about magnetic and electrical forces including charges, repulsion, attraction and electro-magnets.

Our Dynamic Planet - Earth Shaking News Lab
    Grades 4 - 9
    1:00pm-2:00pm, 30 students maximum
As teams of geologists and seismologists, student test and identify rocks and minerals, investigate the dynamics of plate tectonics and interpret readings from seismographs to discover the location and magnitude of an earthquake. The information left by previous earthquakes is used to predict future earth shaking events, and to help understand the need for earthquake safety and the use of engineering techniques to help make buildings earthquake resistant.

    Forces of Nature Planetarium Show
    2:30pm
Get up close and personal to erupting volcanoes, devastating earthquakes and powerful storms as scientists travel the world trying to understand what causes these dangerous natural events. Risking their lives for scientific discovery, these experts forge their way through volcanic flows, along treacherous fault lines, and in cars heading straight toward a raging tornado.(Narrated by Kevin Bacon). Educational content may be recommended for older students but younger children may attend this program at the parent's descretion.
