In 2008, Folk Alley called Chris Castle "a rising, Americana stand-out". Since that time, Castle has lived up to that billing, through continually writing and recording solid albums and constantly touring the eastern half of the United States. Since 2007, Chris has shared stages with Hall of Fame inductees, Grammy nominees/winners, and some of the brightest up and coming acts in Americana music, ...including: Chris Hillman (the Byrds, the Flying Burrito Brothers), Tommy Ramone (the Ramones, Uncle Monk), Radney Foster, Jimmy Webb, Richard Shindell, Junior Brown, Amy Speace, Jonathan Edwards, Peter Case, the everybodyfields, Jeff Black, Will Kimbrough, Eilen Jewell, Tommy Womack, Jim White, Fiona McBain (of Ollabelle), and the Wood Brothers. His 2007 release, Hollow Bones in Monotone, garnered both airplay and media attention (tv and print) in places like Ohio, Tennessee, Washington, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Florida, and Michigan. In 2008, Castle recorded the follow-up, Crazy Wind, at the home studio of Levon Helm (the Band, Bob Dylan). He released Songbook Volume One (a 20-track collection of live recordings and studio outtakes) in the Fall of 2009, followed in 2010 by the eleven-track disc, Perfect World. Castle signed with the New London, CT based Telegraph Recording Company in April of 2011, releasing his latest effort, The Firelands EP early that same month.

Joining Chris Castle will be the Womack Family Band
