Al Jackson writes: "After spending several years as a 7th grade public school teacher, I decided I was ready to pursue my dream of "doing anything else." Lucky for me, that something else was comedy. Its been said that I deliver edgy, hard-nosed comedy with a laid-back swagger and a giant smile."
Al Jackson has had an incredible year. Recently he appeared in his own Comedy Central Presents half hour special, earned a showcase spot on Showtime’s “Louie Anderson Presents”, and was featured as a coach on this year’s Emmy winning season of MTV’s MADE. He is also the current host of FOX’s nationally syndicated travel show, Awesome Adventures. Al did this while appearing in two E! specials: 50 Most Insane Celebrity Oops and 50 Super Epic TV Moments. He was selected to participate in the 2011 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Chicago where he was voted one of the best of the fest and can be heard on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show and the Opie and Anthony Show. Add to that a resume which already included two appearances on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, a spot on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham and Friday Night Stand-Up, commercials for Burger King and Comedy Central, MTV’s MVP’s, F’N MTV, and Comics Unleashed and the future for this young comic looks limitless.
