On the heels of her sold-out show at Hotel Café in Hollywood, Los Angeles-based indie pop/folk singer-songwriter Mariah McManus will make her Nashville debut. Slated for October 27 at The Listening Room in Nashville, Mariah is playing in support of her debut album Nice To Meet You (Catcher and Rye) released on September 27. Check out the new live acoustic performance video of “Anyway” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZY6HVTr4ts.

Featuring 10 original compositions including “Shame On You,” co-written with Joy Williams of The Civil Wars, “Unarmed,” which was featured in 2010 on ABC’s season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “Say It Again,” the album’s lead single, the release features “a tone similar to Demi Lovato, the mellow coffeehouse vibe of Angel Taylor and the storytelling ability of Taylor Swift. In other words? She’s going to be a big star” (Girls’ Life). Produced by Nashville producer Thomas Doeve and Mariah’s brother, Aaron McManus, Nice To Meet You was recorded over five days at Paper Swan Studios in Nashville.
