Chuck Marshall is truly an “artist’s artist”. His expressive paintings embody his love of the telling stories through light and color in order to capture emotion. Chuck has studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy as well as the California Art Institute. His work is found in numerous galleries in the Ohio Valley region and hangs in many corporate and private collections across the United States. Chuck’s work has been featured in International Artist and American Artist Magazine. He resides outside of Cincinnati in quaint Mason, OH where he keeps his studio and teaches regularly.

In this 2 ½ day workshop, students will learn to capture light that has previously seemed elusive. Working from life in this studio through still life and plein air (weather permitting) will allow students the opportunity to engage their tools like never before. You will find undiscovered insight to your work that will inspire you whether you are an intermediate or seasoned artist. In addition to the workshop, TAL will hold a Reception and Art Sale at TAL on Friday, November 18, 2011, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.  Five of Chuck Marshall's works of art will be for sale during the reception exclusively at TAL. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Admission is free.

Fee for the workshop is $275. Lunch can be provided to students for an additional $10 for each day.
